Membership

IPWEA-QNT and IPWEA (Australasia) Membership

As a member of IPWEA-QNT you are automatically eligible for membership with our national body - IPWEA (Australasia). This enables you to also access all IPWEA products, services and resources.

By confirming to renew your membership below you agree to be bound by the Membership Terms and Conditions of both

IPWEA-QNT (ABN: 84244523855) and IPWEA (Australasia) (ABN: 42087934898)

 

If you do not wish to be an IPWEA (Australasia) member, you may ‘opt out’ of IPWEA (Australasia) membership by notifying IPWEA-QNT via email: membership@ipweaq.com

• I agree to abide by the constitutions of IPWEA-QNT and IPWEA (if applicable), and any bylaws in effect from time to time.

• The Constitution for IPWEA-QNT is available on the website at IPWEA-QNT Constitution.

• The Memorandum and Articles of Association for IPWEA (Australasia) is available on the website at IPWEA (Australasia)

Events

1. For cancellations made within two (2) weeks of the commencement of the event, no refund will be issued.

2. Registrations are not confirmed until payment or a Purchase Order is received.

3. In the event of non-attendance, no refund will be issued.

4. Registrations are transferable to another person up to two weeks prior to the event.

5. Registrations may not be split between two or more delegates.

6. If an IPWEA-QNT event is cancelled for any reason, IPWEA-QNT will advise delegates within 72 hours of the event commencement and a full refund will be issued.

7. If the event is able to be rescheduled, delegates will be informed of the new date. If delegates are unable to attend on the rescheduled date, a full refund  will be issued. Alternatively, a delegate may request the event registration fee be applied to another IPWEA-QNT event(s). 

8. Early Bird & other discounts must be paid prior to the advertised deadline for registration eg if the offer ends 31 July, payment must be received by this  date. 

9. Discounts and other promotions are applicable to new registrations only.

13. Please note that only one discount or promotion code may be used per registration or purchase. If you have two or more discount or promotional codes, please choose the one with the highest value.

14. On the IPWEA-QNT App, your first and last name will appear as an attendee, unless you opt out.

 

Paper Submissions

1. Abstracts are not automatically accepted. Your submission will be considered on its own merits but also with regard to other abstracts and the developing conference program. We will advise you of the outcome within one month following the close for the Call for Papers.

2. If your paper is accepted, you will need to register to attend the conference and a speaker discount will be offered. It is not possible for you to attend solely to present your paper as it is of value to our delegates to be able to discuss your presentation with you throughout the event.

3. We will advise you of a date and time for your presentation however changes often occur after the program has been finalised and published. We will inform you promptly should this occur.

4.  A PowerPoint presentation must be received at least one week prior to the conference.

5. You are required to prepare and submit a written document, a ‘Paper’, to accompany your presentation. Presentations that are not accompanied by a Paper are ineligible for the Geoff Wilmoth Best Paper award.

6. The content of your presentation must be non-commercial ie a sales pitch will not be accepted.

7. Your Paper, PPT presentation and any recordings (audio and/or video) of your presentation as delivered at the conference will be published in IPWEA-QNT’s globally-recognised Knowledge Centre. Your consent is implied by accepting this invitation to submit an abstract.

Professional Development Courses

1. For cancellations within one (1) week of the commencement of the course or workshop, no refund will be issued however the registration fee may be applied to another IPWEA-QNT event(s) if the request is made at least one week prior to the event

2. Registrations are not confirmed until payment or a Purchase Order is received

3. In the event of non-attendance, no refund will be issued

4. A $100 admin fee will be payable if cancellation is made within seven days of the course or workshop

5. Registrations may be transferable up to seven days prior to the course or workshop

6. If an IPWEA-QNT course or  workshop is cancelled for any reason, IPWEA-QNT will advise delegates within 48 hours of the course or workshop commencement and a full refund will be issued

7. If the event is able to be rescheduled, delegates will be informed of the new date. If delegates are unable to attend on the rescheduled date, a full refund will be issued. Alternatively, a delegate may request the event registration fee be applied to another IPWEA-QNT event(s).

Private Workshops

1. Final delegate numbers and details are required no later than 3 days prior to the event date

2. For cancellations made within 24 hours of course commencement the full quoted amount will be charged.

3. IPWEA-QNT requires all cancellations to be made in writing. 

4. Cancellations made within 5 business days date of course commencement will be required to pay all incurred costs including other third party expenses eg contractor/facilitator fees.

5. Cancellations made in writing between 6 and 10 business days will be required to pay 50% of quoted price.

6. Note: In the event of course cancellation, IPWEA-QNT will invoice all incurred expenses from third party contractors for the provision of the quoted course where IPWEA-QNT are liable to the third parties terms and conditions.

7. In the event of non-attendance, no refund will apply.

8. All quoted amounts are Inc GST

9. Quotes are valid for 3 months from date of issue
