About the Course

In the complex and dynamic world of public works, effective leadership goes beyond technical expertise. Leading Well is a one-day introductory program designed to cultivate the core non-technical skills necessary to lead with confidence, authenticity, and resilience.

While there is a wealth of leadership and management research available, this program contextualizes those insights to your everyday challenges. It brings theory to life through practical applications and real-world scenarios, making the concepts relevant and actionable for your work in public works.

Participants will develop a deeper understanding of their leadership style, learn how to inspire trust, foster collaboration, and create a culture of accountability. Through interactive discussions, practical exercises, and scenario-based learning, attendees will leave equipped with foundational skills to motivate teams, manage change, and lead with integrity.
