The Lower Order Road Design Guidelines (LORDG) specify minimum standards for the design and construction of lower order road assets and provide practitioners with a risk-based approach to capital improvements.

In this Second Edition we now provide guidance for traffic volumes up to 250 vehicles per day and design speeds up to 110km/hr. The Second Edition now also new maps for design for wet conditions stopping sight distance calculations. There are numerous other topics that have been included in this edition based on feedback and requests from our Review Committee.
