Richard Champion

MC, Speaker and Media Personality

Richard Champion had a 14-year Australian football career, including 10 years with the Brisbane Bears / Lions. He qualified for entry to the AFL’s prestigious 200 Club and was awarded Brisbane Lions Life Membership at the end of the 2000 season for his service to the club.

During his career, Richard was active in off-field activities and won an AFL Talent Show on Network Seven for his impersonation of Jimmy Barnes. He later appeared on the Channel Seven program “It Takes Two,” showcasing his singing abilities. Richard has also worked as a speaker and media personality.

Registration 

What if I can't remember my login details?
Contact the events team on 07 3632 6800.

Can I register multiple attendees to be billed on the same invoice?
Yes. To register multiple attendees, please complete the group registration form and send it to [email protected]. The events team will process your registrations and an invoice will be issued to the nominated contact.

What is included in my Public Works Technical Subscription?
For 2025/26 Gold Public Works Technical Subscribers, you are entitled to:

  • 2x complimentary one day registrations, and
  • 2x complimentary full conference registrations.

To register, please complete the group registration form and send through to [email protected]. The events team will process the registrations and send confirmation emails to each attendee.

When can I register for my chosen sessions?
Once the program is finalised, you will receive an email from the events team notifying you to select your chosen tech tour and stream sessions.

Can I get a refund if I cancel my registration?
For cancellations made within two (2) weeks of the commencement of the event, no refund will be issued. If a cancelation is made more than two (2) weeks prior commencement of the event, a full refund will be issued. Alternatively, a delegate may request the event registration fee be applied to another IPWEA-QNT event(s). In the event of non-attendance, no refund will be issued.
