Are you a member of IPWEAQ, AND an RPEQ?
If so, please register to have access to our IPWEAQ CPD Logbook scheme – YOUR account.
The scheme supports you to track and audit your CPD hours.
This is
recognition of any formal (and relevant) training or learning that you have
successfully completed to maintain your professional status as an RPEQ and Engineer:
Requirements to maintain RPEQ: Minimum of 150 CPD hours over a three-year period.
IPWEAQ courses, programs and events have published CPD hours, to assist you in maintaining an accurate record of your professional development.
Registration as a RPEQ demonstrates an engineer’s qualification, competency and experience and ongoing commitment to development and learning.
“Engineers carry out highly complex work and it is appropriate – just like many other professions – that they meet and uphold high standards of professional practice. The Professional Engineers Act (QLD) requires that anyone carrying out a professional engineering service in Queensland or for Queensland (e.g. a design project carried out interstate or overseas for a Queensland based project) must meet these standards and then be registered as a RPEQ. This ensures that only qualified, competent and experienced professionals design, build, maintain and develop the products, infrastructure and services we use every day.” www.bpeq.qld.gov.au
