Thank you to everyone who joined us at this year's IPWEAQ Excellence Awards. A special thanks to our co-host Brightly, and all of our category award sponsors. It was a memorable one as we celebrated 20 Years of IPWEAQ Excellence Awards.

Engineers connect communities and this month, we celebrate this with the Flinders River Alderley Crossing Bridge, of Flinders Shire Council. This project is featured for December in the Every Community Needs an Engineer (ECNE) calendar.
Constructed 40km northwest of Hughenden, the bridge is a 6-span transversely stressed bridge. Stretching across 152m, the bridge was constructed with a deck level 4m above the causeway road level to provide greater flood immunity to the road network and increased access to the adjacent properties.
Merry Christmas and happy holidays from all of us here at IPWEAQ and qldwater! Thank you to all who joined us at our events in 2022.
As thanks to our hardworking staff, the IPWEAQ office will be closed from Friday 23 December 2022 to Monday 2 January 2023.
We may not be available to respond to your queries during this period. We will be back on 3 January and will respond to any outstanding items then. Thank you in advance for understanding.
You can help make sure First Nations families are not the last to access clean, safe, disease-free drinking water. Please support the Engineers Without Borders Engineering On Country Appeal this Giving Season!
An estimated quarter million First Nations people in small remote communities lack reliable access to water free from poisons, contaminants and dangerous diseases.
Engineers Without Borders’ Engineering On Country Water Program is working alongside remote communities across the Top End to ensure they have the ability to test their water onsite and make sure it is safe to drink.
You can help turn a basic human right into a reality.
EWB’s Engineering On Country Appeal is on now. We need your help to scale this program to reach even more communities.
