You do not have to be an engineer to join IPWEA-QNT.

Ideal for professionals actively involved in delivering public infrastructure, engineering, or local government services in Queensland or the Northern Territory. Individuals working in equivalent roles across other Australian jurisdictions are also encouraged to apply and participate in our community.

Recognises Members aged 30 and over who have demonstrated distinguished leadership and contribution at a senior level in the public works sector. Applicants must have at least five years of membership and be actively involved in roles such as Board or Committee service, working groups, or professional development activities.

Tailored for students who have recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in engineering within the last five years. This category supports early-career professionals, including mature-age graduates, and requires submission of a graduation certificate to verify the date of completion.

Student Membership
$0 (No cost)

Provides complimentary access for full-time students enrolled in civil engineering or closely related disciplines, who are not in full-time employment. Applicants must submit valid proof of enrolment (such as a student ID or academic transcript) and remain eligible for the duration of their studies.
